Hi. Here is my 3 patches. sbc2410x.patch is for the new board -- SBC-2410X. I write this new hardware-specific configurations refer to smdk2410 configurations in U-Boot. File list: MAKEALL Makefile board/sbc2410x/Makefile board/sbc2410x/config.mk board/sbc2410x/flash.c board/sbc2410x/lowlevel_init.S board/sbc2410x/sbc2410x.c board/sbc2410x/u-boot.lds cpu/arm920t/s3c24x0/interrupts.c include/configs/sbc2410x.h This patch adds a new configuration option -- CONFIG_SBC2410X. cmdline_editing.patch implements cmdline-editing extension of readline. I pick codes heavily borrowed from vivi bootloader and integrate them into U-Boot. File list: common/main.c This patch adds a new configuration option -- CONFIG_CMDLINE_EDITING. nand_for_sbc2410x.patch adds nand support for SBC-2410X board. It do that by taking nand controller specific codes (from VCMA9 board) in place. [U-Boot-Users] [Patch] KVME080 Support

Hi, This patch adds support for KVME080 board. KVME080 is a VME board with MPC8245 CPU. It also patches drivers/cfi_flash.c. First, it adds CFG_FLASH_PROTECT_CLEAR because for some flash memories(such as 28F320C3) all banks are protected after reset. Second, it makes write_buff not to call flash_write_cfibuffer if buffer_size is1. Because for flash memories with buffer_size 1, buffer write is not supported. Third, it makes 64 bit writes to use FLASH_WRITE64 if FLASH_WRITE64 is defined. Because KVME080 needs it. Fourth, it makes flash_detect_cfi call FLASH_PORTWIDTH when changing portwidth if FLASH_PORTWIDTH is defined. Because on some CPUs (such as MPC8245), port width should be changed. [U-Boot-Users] MIPS LE build problems

Dear Thomas, I always wondered what exactly was the reason why I was not able to build the dbau1x00 targets (especially the little endian dbau1550_el target using the ELDK toolchain). Also, I always wondered about the reference to a non-exitent cpu/mips/little/liblittle.a library. Is ther ea special reason for the current settings of build options for the dbau1x00 targets? Attached below is a patch which makes all dbau1x00 targets build fine with the current ELDK, and I believe these settings are more correct than the previous ones. If you don't protest I would like to merge this patch into the public source tree? [U-Boot-Users] parse bug in cmd_mii.c

I noticed that in do_mii() the code is dereferencing argv[1] without checking what value argc has. This leads to an exception if a command line like 'mii ' is given where argv[1] is NULL. I have a patch, but my cmd_mii.c is carrying around some other patches (some submitted to the list, some local). Is there a good way to separate out the patches I want to submit by themselves? -- Hardware, n.: The parts of a computer system that can be kicked.

[U-Boot-Users] MPC8349E-MDS broken in git head, ok at U-Boot-1_1_4

Hi all, I'm using the Freescale MPC8349E-MDS-PB (PCI board) reference design and am working on getting the board booted with the latest U-Boot source code obtained from the Denx git tree. I'm designing a custom board using the MPC8394E processor and want to add a new board support option for this new board when appropriate, but first I want to get the MDS board working with the head of the git development tree, so that my changes are based on the latest code. I checked out (ok, pulled) the latest git source and built for the MPC8349EMDS target, i.e., make MPC8349EMDS_config make and then flashed the board, and it does not boot (well, I don't get a console at 115k baud, and the source looks like it still uses that rate). If however, I checkout the U-Boot-1_1_4 branch, build that, and flash it (using a BDI2000 since the board won't boot), then we're back to life. Note that in the 1.1.4 release, the build target is slightly different, since the board was called the ADS make MPC8349ADS_config make Looking at the CHANGELOG I can see that there have been a bunch of changes since the 1.1.4 release; the MPC8349EMDS board was added, and then merged with the MPC8349ADS code (actually, there is still a Makefile target in the latest code for the ADS, but it doesn't build). Its not clear when the changes broke the build, or whether the build is fine, and that I just happen to have my board setup slightly differently (I've left it in the stock-format as delivered by Freescale, running in host mode, standalone). So I can think of two debug options; - go with the latest code and figure out how to use gdb and the BDI2000 to debug the problem - start using git bisect, and keep working to find the break. Both methods are new to me, so I plan to start out with git bisect. If anyone else has any suggestions I'd welcome them. Otherwise I'll track down the problem and submit a patch.
