- spl_board_init is empty on smartweb so drop that function - When CONFIG_AT91SAM9_WATCHDOG is set we do not disable the watchdog in SPL and instead let full U-Boot handle it. Hi, In order to correctly exectute some binaries on some arch we need to flush the data cache or instructions cache. Some arch offer helper functions for this while others don't (or don't have the ability to do this in hardware). Introduce some kconfig option name SYS_HAVE_DCACHE_MAINTENANCE and SYS_HAVE_ICACHE_MAINTENANCE and enable it on some arm CPU that have cache maintenance helpers. I cannot test all arch but arch maintainers are welcome to select thoses options where it is appropriate. The three last patches are the place we need to flush the cache while trying to boot the FreeBSD loader and have been in FreeBSD since a long time now. [U-Boot] [BUG] SPI NOR for SST25V hangs for TI AM335x.

Hi, There is a bug in the SST25V SPI NOR for the TI AM335x. On a write the SPI NOR hangs. This is because of the spi_release_bus(..) in the spi_flash_read_common call done by spi_flash_sr_ready(..) called in the spi_flash_wait_till_ready(..) in sst_write_wp(..). This call clears all the registers and the setting associated with it and then calls the spi_flash_cmd_write_disable in sst_write_wp(..) with the wrong SPI settings. Also there are spi_reset(..) calls happening in the sst_write_wp(..) which seems to be unnecessary when the data sheet does not mention any need for resets. Calling unnecessary resets simply increases the latency in the driver and causes more bugs. Currently commenting out the spi_release_bus(..) makes a successful write. Thanks, Gautam.

While the `env export` can take as parameters variables to be exported, `env import` does not have such a mechanism of variable selection. Let's add a `-w` option that asks `env import` to look for the `whitelisted_vars` env variable for a space-separated list of variables that are whitelisted. Every env variable present in env at `addr` and in `whitelisted_vars` env variable will override the value of the variable in the current env. All the remaining variables are left untouched. One of its use case could be to load a secure environment from the signed U-Boot binary and load only a handful of variables from an other, unsecure, environment without completely losing control of U-Boot. Hi Simon. I know that you've mentioned in the commit log that md is enough, but I find it hard to read and I can easily add a command for examining the buffer. Will you accept a patch like this ? Also, I think it will also be beneficial to add a timestamp to each entry. what do you think ? Thanks, Ramon
