Hi All, I working on porting Xen to Orange Pi mini 2(Allwinner H3) board. When I try to boot xen on it, Shows following message. - UART enabled - - CPU booting - - Xen must be entered in NS Hyp mode - - Boot failed - I assume that all allwinner core enable(start from internal ROM firmware) in hyp mode and following code checks for hyp mode in u-boot( in arch/arm/ cpu/armv7/start.S) mrs r0, cpsr and r1, r0, #0x1f @ mask mode bits teq r1, #0x1a @ test for HYP mode bicne r0, r0, #0x1f @ clear all mode bits orrne r0, r0, #0x13 @ set SVC mode orr r0, r0, #0xc0 @ disable FIQ and IRQ msr cpsr,r0 But H3 SoC not start from HYP mode unlike AllWinner A20 start in HYP. Is any specific different in booting of A20 and H3 before boot0 and u-boot start. Can anyone help/guide me to enter into hyp mode in Allwinner H3 SoC based board? Is any specific procedure to enter into HYP mode? i.e TI OMAP5 based device require special SMC instruction to enter into HYP mode. [U-Boot] regarding u-boot ethernet support for TFTP boot in Banana pi R1 (Lamobo R1)

Dear all, I've successfully compiled and running u-boot on the Bananapi R1 board using the instructions in http://linux-sunxi.org/Mainline_U-boot#Compile_U-Boot This board uses a *BCM 53125* ethernet chip 4+1 ports 10/100/1000 Ethernet RJ45 (BCM 53125), WLAN @802.11b/g/n (RTL8192CU) with 2x external antennas connectors But when I any try to run any NETWORK related command - i'm getting a "*No Link*". I do have the ip add, gateway addr, net mask etc set as environment variables. sunxi# ping 192.168.10.1 ethernet@01c50000 Waiting for PHY auto negotiation to complete......... TIMEOUT ! ethernet@01c50000: No link. ping failed; host 192.168.10.1 is not alive Could someone help me to understand if the above issue can be fixed by any config changes ? thanks Ram

Enable the debug UART and emit a single 'a' early in the init sequence to show that it is working. Unfortunately the debug UART implementation needs a stack to work. I cannot seem to remove this limitation as the absolute 'jmp %eax' instruction goes off into the weeds. So this means that the character output cannot be any earlier than car_init_ret, where memory is available for a stack. This series adds a number of fixes and improvements to driver model as well as two new uclasses (video bridges and I2c muxes). The series is aimed at adding support for spring (HP 11 Chromebook). Since it is very similar to other ARM Chromebooks, some effory is made to use common code rather than duplicating functionality. In fact spring uses the same code as several other boards, just with a different device tree and a few configuration changes. Audio works correctly on pit, pi, spring and snow with this series. A bug in the I2C driver broken this recently. The exynos implementation still has a few rough areas - e.g. some hard-coded GPIOs and the old-style SPL. Also it does not yet support CPU frequency scaling and power management. Spring has some oddities and they are hard to handle with U-Boot's old way of doing drivers. With driver model these can be implemented cleanly and this sort of problem was the original motivation for my interest in driver model. This series is available at u-boot-dm in branch spring-working. It is based on the previous set of driver model changes in branch clk-working.
