[U-Boot] [PATCH] dm: change dm_warn() message into debug() in uclass_add()

The command "dm uclass" tries to display all the UClasses, but some of them might be disabled by Kconfig. The function do_dm_dump_uclass() iterates over all the UClass IDs and calls uclass_get() for each of them. Then, it displays annoying message "Cannot find uclass for id ..." every time it fails to get the UClass. For legacy reasons, keystone2 had kind of stayed completely seperated from the rest of the TI SoC families. This makes no sense since there are a lot of common definitions that can be reused between all SoC configuration allowing for a consistent user experience. So make keystone2 follow the rest of the TI SoCs based on OMAP architecture as well. Hi All, There's some logic in board/ti/panda/panda.c to detect the various panda revisions (es/a4) and set the board/board_name variables but, at least on 2015.04/07, it doesn't appear to work so on an ES board the board_name is still just panda and fence findfdt doesn't set the correct dtb details. I had a quick poke at it around the edges to see if I can work out what went wrong but I didn't get far, can someone with some more understanding of it take a look? Peter

[U-Boot] Trouble with mmc 1 on exynos snow chromebook

Hello I have a samsung "snow" chromebook. Building u-boot from git clone git://git.denx.de/u-boot.git and changing #define CONFIG_SYS_TEXT_BASE 0x43E00000 to #define CONFIG_SYS_TEXT_BASE 0x42400000 in include/configs/exynos5250-common.h I get a chained u-boot that boots. (if I don't make that change I just get a blank screen) The problem that I'm have is that dev mmc 1 (mmcblk1) doesn't seem to work. dev mmc 0 (mmcblk0) does work as far as I have tested it. Below are some of the messages that I get. Because the top-level Makefile forces all the source files to include include/linux/kconfig (see the UBOOTINCLUDE define), these includes are redundant. By the way, there are exceptions for the statement above; host programs. In fact, host tools in U-Boot depend on a particular board configuration, although I think they should not. So, some files still include <linux/config.h> to work around build errors on host tools. [U-Boot] silence u-boot and kernel console output

U-Boot 2014.07 Kernel 3.14.33 System: MX51 board with touchscreen lcd. I'm trying to figure out the right combination of bootargs or enviroment variables or #define's to silence the console and make everything else work as normal all the way through shutdown. In old kernel and u-boot our bootargs were "console=null root=/dev/mmcblk0p rootwait rw jtag=on fbcon=map:1" In new u-boot and kernel I have narrowed down a few issues... fbcon=map:1 causes our display not to display anything when the system is booted. console=null causes the kernel to hang for about a minute before any log messages appear in sys.log So I got rid of console=null and fbcon=map:1. I replaced it with #defines in config file... #define CONFIG_SILENT_CONSOLE #define CONFIG_SYS_DEVICE_NULLDEV #define CONFIG_SILENT_CONSOLE_UPDATE_ON_SET #define CONFIG_EXTRA_ENV_SETTINGS \ "silent=1\0" \ It boots quick and lcd works, but now when I issue a reboot command I get shutdown messages on the lcd.
