Hi everybody, I try to bring up fw_setenv / fw_printenv in linux kernel but first it want to start with u-boot itself. I built most recent u-boot-marvell git source and get a running u-boot with standard openrd configuration. So far so good. version says: ArtistaNET-III>> version U-Boot 2009.08-00208-g9ef0569-dirty (Sep 29 2009 - 15:42:42) OpenRD_base But saveenv will not work as expected. setenv of new parameter will work but after saveenv and reboot the new parameter is lost and u-boot complains about wrong CRC again. Any help would be very appreciated. Dieter

Tom, To the best of my knowledge, the final version of patches for new boards were submitted after the merge window ended but the initial versions were submitted before the merge window ended. Also there are fixes for various compilation warnings. This pull request will result in 1 new compliation warning. This is due to SDP 3430 using a deprecated NET driver. I beleive it is being worked on by Nishanth. Any patch from him will be on top of the existing SDP 3430 support. Wolfgang, I have cleaned up the commits to arm/master-sync. The cleanup is from doing a git rev-list --reverse master..arm/master Then working back from my notes to take only the commits were either misc arm or other arm pull requests. These were cherry picked on top of the current u-boot/master. I ran the MAKEALL regression and the results look like what I posted on Sunday. That said, it would be a good idea to wait a bit for others to review this list and pick up on anything that I missed. I will be offline for about 10hrs and will fix any problems then. I have the following system: - Board: Artila M-501 with Atmel AT91RM9200 - 16MB Flash - 64MB SDRAM - U-Boot 1.1.2 - Linux: 2.6 I am new to those bootloader and embedded linux things, so I messed up the configuration of u-boot... Then I recovered the Board with new loader, environment and new kernel and ramdisk -> I used the official "recovery package" of Artila (I know that it wouldn't have been necessary to do all the things, but I wasn't sure if the bootloader was the only problem...) I'm seeing something funny with using the 'sf probe' command, but not the sspi command. [U-Boot] OMAP3 EVM: Only ONENAND supported, no NAND any more?

Hi, in a private mail someone mentioned that recent U-Boot for OMAP3 EVM has only support for ONENAND. And NAND support was removed? He still has an EVM with NAND. Any idea? Best regards Dirk
