[U-Boot] [PATCH 1/2] 85xx: Use CONFIG_SYS_CACHELINE_SIZE instead of magic number

Using CONFIG_SYS_CACHELINE_SIZE instead of 31 means we can handle e500mc's 64-byte cacheline properly when it gets added. [U-Boot] Splash Screen

Hello, i have U-Boot running on MPC5200B! The U-Boot console output is on display! Now i activated the splash sreen support, and it works! But now I`m wondering, if I have a problem and have to do something in the U-Boot console if I get there! Because when i press a key (between the 3 seconds of autostart) the splash screen picture stays there, and I don`t see any console output! Has anyone an idea how I can solve that? [U-Boot] amcc kilauea odd crashes

Hi List, Just updated my kilauea to top of git (2008.10-00092-gd9d8c7c) and am seeing odd crashes: - sometimes u-boot comes up normally, but printenv displays random crap. - sometimes I get machine checks such as here [1]. - sometimes it resets without any message at all. The major visible change since the last update is the "DRAM: auto calibration" eye candy. Does anyone see any similar problems? To me this smells like a faulty DRAM configuration. Since the new autocalibration still has some problems on some Kilauea boards with 200MHz DDR2 frequency we disable the autocalibration and use the hardcoded values as done before. This seems to work reliably on all known DDR2 frequencies. After the autocalibration issue is fixed we will enable it again. Hi, while tryong to convert the TQM8260 board to using the CFI flash driver (instead of a perfectly working legacy flash driver) I ran into a strange problem: after an erase operation, the CFI driver returns without any error indication, but the flash is not ready yet. It takes some more milliseconds before the flash gets ready - by then it's indeed erased, but this behaviour makes things like "saveenv" or any "erase;cp" command sequences fail with a "Flash not Erased" error message.
