sorry,,, this time plain text i ported uboot-1.0.0 with success on my board , it works fine ( i think ) i can download kernel image and no problem with mtest but when i enter "bootm" "Uncompressing kernel...OK" and no more message but i tested it with a reference board , uboot-1.0.0 and kernel 2.4.4 from (www.denx.de) on reference board it wokrs find ( i searched mailing-list and found "Uncompress...." problem because of HZ issue or bd_t type error i think that is not my case ) i have no reference board circuit but i tried to designe my board with same momery ( type and size) , just they differs in CPU version ( reference is A.1 1K22A-XC , my board is C.2 6K23A could it cause a problem ? ) i use the same uboot in both boards i have no idea what is wrong ? SW or HW ? give me some ideas or hints thanks in advance

Hi, I am trying to port u-boot to a system w/ a mips 4kc little endian processor. in looking at other cpu/boards to use as a starting point/template, I chose the tb0229 board as it looked to also be a 4kc little endian cpu. when I build, I get the an undefined reference to _GLOBAL_OFFSET_TABLE_. Hi The following patch fixes the hangs in the serial port when outputting very early. Testing for global vars early in the boot sequence has unintended consequences so just we check by the GD RELOC flag which is safe to do anytime. Hi The following patch adds the following new functions to u-boot. 1) A factory defaults command & a method for setting them. This is highly board specific, but the generic functionality is straight forward. Hi, I am now installing the arm-linux from eldk-2.1.0. I think there might be something wrong on my Redhat Linux.
