Hello, Please find updated version of lwip patches. Changes are in the changelog bellow. Thank you, Maxim. changelog: v11: - v11 is mosly respin of v10 patches with CI error fixes. Gitlab CI: https://source.denx.de/u-boot/custodians/u-boot-tpm/-/pipelines/18368 Azure CI: https://dev.azure.com/u-boot/u-boot/_build/results?buildId=7366&view=results (Azure CI, which is connected to github. Sometime I can see tftp timeout after some part of download there, but that can not be reproduced locally. While Gitblab CI is stable. Because of num tries in CI I suspect this CI was not always reliable.) Azure and Gitlab also have different toolchains and I would say Gitlab generates bigger code then Azure CI. Also many boards have a binary limit size of 800k (even qemu has limits). And increased limits to fit all the code. Specially did it patch by board config to show which boards are failing to build. There I have a question if we really want to support new functionality for old boards (mips, arm32 and etc...). I hope board owners can help me if it's valid to increase these limits. In this version I used git submodules and friend CI with submodules. But I don't mind if you decide to maintain it in a different way. v10: - fix ping with following tftp command issue with incorrect ping timeout clear. - Makefile on make will init submodules and if needed will do git clone. - wget - some minor code style changes. v9: - added first patch describing git submodule for lwip. Hi, This series switches am64x to standard boot flow. Also minor fix to am62x boot targets. U-Boot provides support for editing settings with an 'expo', as well as reading and writing settings to CMOS RAM. This series integrates expo functionality with coreboot, using the sysinfo table to get a list of settings, creating an expo with them and allowing them to be edited. A new CI test provides coverage for some coreboot-related commands. For this to work, a number of minor tweaks are made to existing tests, so that they pass on coreboot (x86) or at least are skipped when they cannot pass. Likely most of these fixes will apply to other boards too. Setting up boot chain ACPI on ARM with STM32MPU

Hello everyone, I am a trainee at STMicroelectronics France. I am working on a project "Setting up a boot chain ACPI" for STM32MPU, which is based on ARM Cortex-A . The objective of my project is to add a way of booting (with ACPI) besides Device Tree available on STM32MPU. I found that ACPI was enabled on some x86 platforms but I don't know whether it was set up on ARM or not. I found a PATCH that discussed* Enabling ACPI booting on ARM with Raspberry Pi 4 <https://lore.kernel.org/all/20211201160315.2203099-1-sjg@chromium.org/T/#m3…> *but I don't know if it functioned or not. Did anyone here succeed in setting up ACPI on ARM by U-boot? What are the differences between x86 and ARM platforms when enabling ACPI? The architecture of my board STM32PMU is ARM so can I apply the technique used on platform x86 for my board?

Forward and backward compatibility of Linux kernel device-trees is sometimes missing. One solution approach is to load a kernel specific device-tree. This can either be done via a U-Boot scripts (like the one generated by Debian package flash-kernel or by a boot loader like GRUB. The boot loader approach currently requires to know the device-tree name before first boot which makes it unusable for generic images. Expose the device-tree file name as EFI variable FdtFile. This will allow bootloaders to load a kernel specific device-tree. The variable will not be exposed on ACPI based systems or if the environment variable fdtfile is not defined. [PATCH v2 0/5] Implement fastboot multiresponce

Currently u-boot fastboot can only send one message back to host, so if there is a need to print more than one line messages must be kept sending until all the required data is obtained. This behavior can be adjusted using multiresponce ability (getting multiple lines of response) proposed in this patch set. [PATCH v2 0/6] smbios: Deal with tables beyond 4GB

When the malloc() region extends beyond 4GB on ARM we may end up with an SMBIOS table in that region. Add support for writing an SMBIOS3 table, which supports a 64-bit address. Note that this problem does not happen on x86 since it requires the tables to be placed just below 1MB in memory, unless CONFIG_BLOBLIST_TABLES is enabled. CVE-2019-14194 patch bypass

Hello. I was analyzing CVE-2019-14194 and I think the patch can be bypassed. patch <https://source.denx.de/u-boot/u-boot/-/commit/aa207cf3a6d68f39d64cd29057a4f…> In nfs_read_reply, rlen is signed int. So we can make it less than zero. The value less than zero can bypass the check at line 756. This will lead to overflow due that assign has an unsigned int len parameter. Upgrade u-boot to use a redundant environment

Hi, We are using u-boot and until now we are using a single env storage on the eMMC. We want to change to using a redundant environment, and the way to do that is well documented (thanks for that). The problem we are facing is transitioning from one single to redundant, as the format of the env storage is different (redund has one byte flags right ater the 4 bytes CRC, at offset 4). After the updating the u-boot binary and restarting the machine, u-boot CRC check will fail and all environment will be lost, due to the format change. What is the ussual way to deal with this? Is there a tool to upgrade the environment blob format? Best regards, Adrien
