[U-Boot] [PATCH] ARC: AXS10x: drop NAND support

On AXS10x boards we have non-standard NAND controller which was never really used a lot as there're other much more convenient [as they are standard & removable] persistent media like SD-card and USB mass storage. Moreover after recent changes we face with some NAND controller runtime issues. So instead of keeping support of yet another non-standard peripheral we're dropping its support for good. [U-Boot] no DTB with nand SPL on sama5d3

After flashing my boot.bin to nand I get the following output: RomBOOT <debug_uart> Missing DTB ### ERROR ### Please RESET the board ### I found the error message in fdtdec.c, but not sure what I am missing. I have checked that my DTB is included in the boot.bin output. Any insight on what I am missing? Dan

In exynos boards, ${console} is used to set bootargs but it sets without "console=", so CONFIG_DEFAULT_CONSOLE for these boards is designated with "console=" but it is removed. So revert the commit. There are several reasons that I want to rework/refactor bootefi command as well as bootmgr: * Some previous commits on bootefi.c have made the code complicated and a bit hard to understand. * Contrary to the other part, efi_selftest part of the code is unusal in terms of loading/execution path in do_bootefi(). * do_bootefi_exec() would better be implemented using load_image() along with start_image() to be aligned with UEFI interfaces. * do_bootmgr_load() should also return a size of image loaded. This information will be needed at load_image(0 and also be used to verify an image with its signature in "secure boot" in the future. * When we will support "secure boot" in the future, EFI Boot Manager is expected to be invoked as a standalone command without any arguments to mitigate security surfaces. In this patch set, Patch#1 is a bug fix. Patch#2 to #5 are preparatory patches for patch#6. Patch#7 is for standalone boot manager. The concern that I'm aware of is: * load_image() will take an argument of "parent_handle," but obviously we don't have any parent when invoking an application from command line. Since its inception in upstream fastboot android-n-preview-1 [1], "has-slot" option has never taken the form of "has_slot". Amongst the users of "getvar has-slot:" is the upstream bootloadertest.py [2]. Current U-Boot "has_slot" version must be a typo. Fix it. Since commit 9e3c0174da842 ("pico-imx7d: Add LCD support") loading U-Boot via USB download mode causes the following hang: SDP: initialize... SDP: handle requests... Downloading file of size 527088 to 0x877fffc0... done Jumping to header at 0x877fffc0 Header Tag is not an IMX image U-Boot 2019.04-rc4-00047-gcfb3e102c4 (Mar 23 2019 - 10:45:10 -0300) CPU: Freescale i.MX7D rev1.2 1000 MHz (running at 792 MHz) CPU: Commercial temperature grade (0C to 95C) at 40C Reset cause: POR Board: i.MX7D PICOSOM I2C: ready DRAM: 512 MiB (Hangs here) When booting from eMMC such hang does not happen and currently we don't have a proper fix for this. Also, this hang in USB download mode only happens with the older version of the board that has 512MB of memory. As a temporary workaround, remove video support so that users do not have a negative experience in case they brick their board and want to recover from USB. We can re-add video support later when a proper fix is in place. Since the differences between Tegra186 and earlier generations are now very small, the builds are unified to avoid duplication of code. We also add support for accessing the PMC on systems where it can only be accessed from TrustZone. Finally, all of this is used to implement support for the recently announced NVIDIA Jetson Nano Developer Kit.
