Hello,
I am a newbie in this area. I want to enable FAT file system support
for U-Boot. But I am unsure as to what CONFIG options I should tweak
for this. Also, I want to know where are the file system MMC/SD hooks,
so that I can hook up my MMC/SD driver to be used by the FAT
filesystem.
I would appreciate any pointers.

[U-Boot] [PATCH] MIPS: use CONFIG_SYS_TEXT_BASE in relocation calculations

The relocation code uses the CONFIG_SYS_MONITOR_BASE
constant for calculating the reserved memory size and
relocation offset values. Along with these predefined
values the code also uses several other constants which
are computed by the linker from the CONFIG_SYS_TEXT_BASE
value. Due to this, the relocation code works incorreclty
if the CONFIG_SYS_TEXT_BASE and CONFIG_SYS_MONITOR_BASE
values are different.
Change the relocation code to use the CONFIG_SYS_TEXT_BASE
constant in the calculations to avoid the problem.
Only tested in qemu with the 'malta' and 'qemu_mips{,el}'
targets.

[U-Boot] [PATCH v3 0/5] arm, am33xx: update for the am33xx based siemens boards

Patch 1 introduces bootcount support for the 3 siemens boards. As there
is no other possibility on this boards, the bootcounter is stored in the
environment. To prevent a "saveenv" on all reboots, a "upgrade_available"
U-Boot Environment variable is introduced.
Patch 2 makes the enabling of the RTC32K OSC configurable, as
on the dxr2 board it is not used, and

says not enable things not used ...
Patch 3 adds an option to set the iSerialNumber board specific, which
is used on the 3 siemens boards.
Patch 4 adds an option to set the bcdDevice number board specific, which
is used on the 3 siemens boards.
Patch 5 contains a lot of updates for the siemens boards, see commit
message for detailed information.

Some am33xx boards may not use the RTC block for bootcount (as it may
not be wired up for the board) and use some other facility. So add
another symbol for the bootcount driver for the IP block.

-Once u-boot has been built, you should strip the executable so it can be

- The method we've used for installing u-boot the first time on a P2 is

-Alternative flash option :

- Sometimes, if you've been silly, you can get the board into a state where
-whats in flash has upset the board so much that you can no longer connect
-to the P2 via JTAG. However, you can set DIP9 to off to swap the boot mode
-of the P2 so that you boot from RAM instead of NOR flash. This moves NOR
-flash up to 0x0C000000. You can build a special version of u-boot to

- If you load this up via CCS it will detect flash at its alternate location

Commit f6d1f6e4a58edae4776937647381a43fea5e83a5 broke selection of UARTs
other than UART0 for am335x_evm configurations by setting CONS_INDEX to
1 for all configurations. Revert the CONS_INDEX changes.

Compulab boards can use the same leds code, so move the leds related
code to live under board/compulab/common directory.
