[PATCH] dt-bindings: mtd: Add a schema for binman

Binman[1] is a tool for creating firmware images. It allows you to combine various binaries and place them in an output file. Binman uses a DT schema to describe an image, in enough detail that it can be automatically built from component parts, disassembled, replaced, listed, etc. Images are typically stored in flash, which is why this binding is targeted at mtd. Hello Everyone! This series will introduce basic support (SD and UART) support for Texas Instruments J784S4 EVM. The J784S4 SoC device tree patches are taken from kernel patch submissions and will be updated as they are accepted and merged to the kernel tree. All other patches are specific to SPL and u-boot and do not have dependency on other trees. Appreciate a review for acceptance to u-boot tree. Here are some of the salient features of the J784S4 automotive grade application processor: The J784S4 SoC belongs to the K3 Multicore SoC architecture platform, providing advanced system integration in automotive, ADAS and industrial applications requiring AI at the network edge. This SoC extends the K3 Jacinto 7 family of SoCs with focus on raising performance and integration while providing interfaces, memory architecture and compute performance for multi-sensor, high concurrency applications. Actually now I saw I did not correctly port what Linux does here in v1, but this v2 should be what I understood would be the preferred solution and should be similar to what Linux does now. The original patch series had two patches, from which one was applied already. [PATCH v1 0/3] Add rockmtd command

Rockmtd creates a virtual block device to transfer Rockchip boot block data to and from NAND with block orientated tools like "ums" and "rockusb". It uses the Rockchip MTD driver to scan for boot blocks and copies data from the first block in a GPT formatted virtual disk. Data must be written in U-boot "idbloader.img" format and start at partition "loader1" offset 64. The data header is parsed for length and offset. When the last sector is received it erases up to 5 erase blocks on NAND and writes boot blocks in a pattern depending on the NAND ID. Data is then verified. When a block turns out bad the block header is discarded. Limitations: Support for Rockchip boot block header type 1 only. Pattern for listed NAND IDs only. (Logic still not disclosed by Rockchip) The MTD framework driver data and NAND ID must be extracted at a lower level. Only tested with rk3066 NFC v6.0. [PATCH v2 0/5] Allwinner R528/T113s PSCI

Hi list, This is the second version of my patchset for supporting PSCI (i.e. second core bringup) on R528/T113-s#, incorporating most of the feedback from Andre. I do not expect the final two patches in this series to be winners yet. There's still some back-and-forth going on to sync them up with an anticipated v2 of Andre's patchset for R528 support (on which this work depends). My v2 is being sent now mostly just to smoothen that. However, the first 3 patches in this series ARE meant to be reviewed seriously: the refactoring is totally independent of the R528 effort, and I see no reason to wait for the R528 stuff to be nailed down to get started reviewing them. Going forward, any more changes will most likely be form over function, so aggressive testing of the whole 5-patch series -- on sunxis old and new -- is nonetheless very valuable at this point. :) Changes v1->v2: - Power clamp is now adjusted ONLY on sun{6,7}i, H3, R40. The previous version was mistakenly doing this EXCEPT on those machines. - Flattened sunxi_power_switch() into sunxi_cpu_set_power() for simplicity's sake. - Moved the "power clamp is not NULL" conditional into sunxi_cpu_set_power(). - Removed unnecessary H6 special-case, since H6 is actually ARM64. - Renamed SUNXI_CPUX_BASE to SUNXI_CPUCFG_BASE, to mirror expected changes in Andre's v2 of the R528 series (we decided against using a new name for this block). - Removed sunxi_cpucfg_reg struct, and stopped using the PRCM struct in psci.c. [PATCH 0/2] Conclusive KSTR-SAMA5D27 support

Hi all, this series adds support for Conclusive KSTR-SAMA5D27, a Microchip SAMA5D27 SoC based Single Board Computer by Conclusive Engineering. Patch [1/2] adds a missing prototype for populate_serial_number(), which is used by KSTR-SAMA5D27 in order to read its serial number embedded in EEPROM TLV. Patch [2/2] introduces KSTR-SAMA5D27 support, including board init, Device Tree and defconfig files. An appropriate MAINTAINERS entry is also provided. A new board/conclusive subdirectory is added in anticipation of future support of our other products. Note that the "if (IS_ENABLED(CONFIG...))" checkpatch warnings for this patch are considered by me as false positives.
