CONFIG_SYS_SPL_ARGS_ADDR

Hi, I'm looking into booting Linux FIT images from SPL. In board_init_r (common/spl/spl.c), the boot argument is set to CONFIG_SYS_SPL_ARGS_ADDR if defined. When booting a FIT image including a DTB, shouldn't this automatically be set to fdt_addr (struct spl_image_info)? This would ensure a single point of truth for the DTB address (load address as encoded in the FIT image or DTB data start location within the FIT blob if no load address is defined) instead of having to set CONFIG_SYS_SPL_ARGS_ADDR to the DTB load address. I'm not sure whether I'm interpreting this correctly. It would be nice if somebody could give some advice. Best regards, Sven

[PATCH 0/8] Apple M1 NVMe storage support

This adds support for the (rather quirky) NVMe storage controller integrated on Apple SoCs. This makes it possible to boot from the NVMe storage that is present on all the M1 machines that Apple has released so far. The series has been designed to have as little impact on the existing NVMe support as possible. It splits out the PCIe-specific bits in its own file/driver and adds a platform driver for the Apple controller. This platform driver handles all the quirkiness through driver ops. The existing logic is retained when the driver ops aren't set. [PATCH V2] phy: nop-phy: Enable reset-gpios support

Some usb-nop-xceiv devices use a gpio to put them in and out of reset. Add a reset function to put them into that state. This is similar to how Linux handles the usb-nop-xceiv driver. [PATCH 0/2] Apple M1 laptop keyboard support

This short series implements support for the laptop keyboards on the Apple Silicon Mac laptops. These keyboards are connected to an SPI bus, so this adds a driver for the SPI controller integrated on the SoC, as well as the driver for the keyboard itself. This makes it possible to interact with U-Boot and EFI applications without the need for an external USB keyboard. Mediatek MT8183 build instructions

Hi Fabien, I see support in mainline U-Boot for the MT8183 pumpkin. I'd like to see if I can get a MT8183-based Chromebook running. Do you have build instructions for this board? I cannot see anything in doc/ and am unsure how to build images, what other binaries are needed, etc. Regards, Simon
