This set of patches updates the interface to the DDR calibration in preparation for the addition of a pseudo-board for calibration on i.MX6. The first patch fixes an ommission in the use of the DG_CMP_CYC flag in register MPDGCTRL0. The second patch cleans up the handling of bus widths by passing the system configuration information to the calibration routines. The third routine adds support for returning the calibration data written to the MMDC registers. Tom, I re-synced my U-boot trunk today and did a clean build and found that SPL isn't able to load U-Boot. U-Boot SPL 2017.05-rc3 (May 04 2017 - 15:48:21) I haven't had a chance yet to bisect the issue. Do you know when you plan to do the 2017.05 release? I'd like to try and locate the issue before the final release. adam

This patch series consolidates the redundancy implementations used by env_nand, env_mmc and env_ubi, and adds support for a generic env_fs (also using the same redundancy implementation) that supports all filesystems supported by the filesystem code. env_fs should be able to replace env_fat and env_ext4 in all cases, since it implements the same functionality. Unfortunately, I am unable to verify the changes to env_nand, env_mmc and env_ubi on real hardware, though I have verified that they do compile. If one does not already have a rule to create a custom device node when a given device enumerates it can be useful to have udev create a bus path based node to the entry in /dev/bus/usb that was just enumerated. Given that DFU itself does not require a /dev entry it is a good idea to provide a rule that will generate one. Using distro_bootcmd standardizes board behavior across many platforms. This is particularly useful for distributions supporting multiple boards without requiring custom configuration for each board. There are a few changes needed to support distro_bootcmd, such as fixing the default value for the console setting, increasing the environment size, and allowing distro bootcmd to set the default bootdelay. These patches have been used in Debian's u-boot packaging since May of 2016. Vagrant Cascadian (4): Fix default console on odroid to only specify the device, as "console=" is redundant with the boot environment. Increase the default environment size on odroid, as config_distro_bootcmd requires a more space for the environment. Switch odroid to use config_distro_bootcmd. The default value with distro_bootcmd is 2 seconds, which is reasonably fast, and provides a consistent experience across platforms supporting distro_bootcmd. The current bootdelay value of 0 seconds is a bit challenging to interrupt when desired. This is a series of patches to add support for our ACRS2 board. This board is already out in the wild, but we decided to change to a proper bootloader for recovery and sturdiness reasons. Because this board has been shipping, it already has a defined format for the EEPROM contents, which unfortunately, is incompatible with the format other boards use to detect the system. Because of this, the path that should do board detection in SPL is missing from this series. We don't have a set of stable bits that we can use to confidently identify the board in the context of board_detect.c. The way we currently have the detection implemented is by hacking the if statements in board.c and mux.c. While that specific change is not included, this patchset will be able to boot the board. As far as running linux on this board, it does not appear it will ever ship with a linux. Enjoy!
