The array of strings corresponding to cpu revision is used only when CONFIG_DISPLAY_CPUINFO is selected - in the function print_cpuinfo(). Enclose definition of this array in #ifdef...#endif for the same. I applied and built as you suggested to use mono 2.4; now the only difference between our setups is the SOM (which has a difference SoC on it -- yours is AM1808 mine is OMAPL138) and baseboard. Following the steps, I get no serial activity when u-boot is built from "4fff329 nand_boot_fsl_nfc.c: make "nfc" a "static const" pointer." It seems that there is something that your AM1808 RBL is performing which is not being performed by my OMAPL138 here. This could be due to a misinterpreted AIS command maybe. Whatever the case, the UBL that is prebuilt with the flash and boot utilities seems to be doing the right setup. Hi, Is it possible for U-Boot to use a system similar to Linux from 2.6 where it prints out the full pathname of each file it is building, and doesn't change in and out of directories as it builds. Perhaps including the subdirectory Makefiles instead using make -C? I haven't looked at how Linux does it. Is there some reason U-Boot cannot / should not do the same? So for example: $ make all CC drivers/spi/tegra2_spi.c Warning: blah blah blah CC board/fred/board.c CC arch/arm/lib/board.c LD u-boot $ Unfortunately I don't even know the name for this feature so wasn't able to find a reference to it in the mailing list archives. The pxecfg commands provide a near subset of the functionality provided by the PXELINUX boot loader. This allows U-boot based systems to be controlled remotely using the same PXE based techniques that many non U-boot based servers use. To avoid identity confusion with PXELINUX, and because not all behavior is identical, we call this feature 'pxecfg'. As an example, support for the pxecfg commands is enabled for the ca9x4_ct_vxp config. Additional details are available in the README file added as part of this patch series. The SMSC95XX is a USB hub with a built-in Ethernet adapter. This adds support for this, using the USB host network framework. The framework is extended to support setting the hardware MAC address via an environment variable, since SMSC95XX chips often have no EEPROM attached, and thus no MAC address. Documentation is added on USB networking, the auto load code is refactored to remove duplication, and the ASIX USB ethernet driver is optimized to reduce the time between successive network operations.
