[U-Boot] Problem with burning Kernel

Hi, I have a strange problem that causes a lot of difficulties to our production . My aim is to burn the Kernel. On some boards in the production there's this problem: If I write to the command line: nand erase 0x400000 0x200000 and then tftp and then write the Kernel to the NAND it works fine. But if i first do tftp to get the Kernel and then erase the NAND, everything is stuck, and only pulling out the power helps. Am i doing something wrong? Do you have any idea? We are using tool chain gnuarm 3.4.3 to compile U-Boot 1.1.6 for SMDK2400 board (ARM 9). The commands were as follows. make distclean make smdk2400_config make We are able to successfully generate u-boot.The tool chain have build in insight with version GNU gdb 6.1. While debugging the u-boot.elf in insight with sim target, we encounter error with memset() funtion,which was called in the start_armboot() function. [U-Boot] [PATCH] S5P: new spi gpio bitbang driver

This patch adds basic support for spi mode 0~3 by control gpio bitbang in S5P. Original name of this patch was "support spi gpio driver by control gpio bitbang". But, it had arch-specific features, S5P, so changed to this name. It uses several gpio pin and emulates spi chipselect signal, clock signal and sda signal as if spi controller generate spi signal. I think it is going to use LCD Panel driver that using spi interface. [U-Boot] RAM memory verification on boot

Hi all, I am currently using u-boot version 1.1.6 on a powerpc embedded device which have increased from 64Mbyte RAM memory to 128Mbye size length. The problem is that my device does not recognize the 128Mbyte keeping the original 64Mbyte length. Does anyone know how to let u-boot and the linux bsp to recognize the new memory length? Don't update size in "reg" property of NOR FLASH device tree nodes. This leads to a problem with this NOR flash setup, where chip-select 0 is connected to 512KiB SRAM *and* 512KiB NOR flash. And with this fixup-code, the size of the NOR flash node is changed from 512KiB to 1MiB which leads to a crash in the Linux MTD driver. Hello, I am having trouble is to solve the following problem: / Bin / sh: powerpc-linux-gcc: command not found. I'm following the guide: "U-Boot Porting Guide (MPC5200B) by: Lamar Hansford Infotainment, Multimedia and Telematics Division. I am running the following commands: make UCC_config (My private settings) make all and appears this error: / Bin / sh: powerpc-linux-gcc: command not found.
