Hi Is there a simple way to send data from a Linux user-space program to U-Boot? How about from U-Boot up to a user-space program? The data may change often enough that using fw_printenv and fw_setenv might wear out the NAND storage area for the environment. The use-case is to have two kernel images, two root file systems, and to let a user-space application specify which to use and then force a reboot. The system will not lose power during this reboot. This seems like a common enough problem. These patches add support for A4M072 MPC5200-based board. The first patch adds new board with support for all devices except for 7-segment LED display. We've decided to use 'display' command to manipulate the LED display so the second patch adds very simple generic interface to use such devices and moves hw-specific realization to drivers/misc/pdsp188x.c The third patch adds 7-segment LED display support. And the fourth file adds support for showing boot progress codes on LED display (we can't display them directly so we use a mapping). Regards, Ilya.

Previously, a nonexistent 7th arument was read as the vdw variable. - Reduce the size of the argument array for the tsi148 command from 8 to 7. The tsi148 command itself is argument index 0, and the maximum number arguments passed to the command is 6, making a total of 7 for the array.
