Hi Guys, I am porting usb host tty device driver on uboot. I just use usb usb_bulk_msg to communicate with modem. I met the following problems. Could you please help me for the following issue? Thanks in advance. When I use usb usb_bulk_msg to connect one USB modem, send one AT command (e.g. AT) to Modem, and can receive a responding message, e.g., OK and so on. But When I want to use usb usb_bulk_msg to receive the RING command from modem without sending any AT command to modem, I could not receive any data from modem, even NAK, STALL cannot be received. Then program timeout. But if I send ATA, the can answer the incoming call. I do not know how to receive the data from modem, when host did not send AT command to modem. Hello all, We have a PowerPC 440 EP (from a AMCC Yosemite evaluation kit) and we are in the process of evaluating OSes for it. The industrial strength ones (like vxWorks) are too much feature-wise and money-wise, so we're hoping to try out uC/OS-II. If someone has tried to do this before, I have a few questions: - How do you configure it to run on top of u-boot? What commands are used? - Can the porting layer of uC/OS-II use some of the u-boot functions for PCI and ethernet access? - Are there any existing instructions on how to build (or create a makefile) uC/OS-II using the compilers supplied by the ELDK? I keep getting a failure to "find entry symbol _start", even if I include the gcc libraries, crtbegin.o, etc. I appreciate any help that I can get with my questions. It would seem to meet the definition of “non-well-behaved”. Also the TLB entry for SDRAM marks it Guarded, but that’s one area I would think wouldn't need to be Guarded. Thanks, Dave

On ppc405EP and ppc405GP (at least) the ebc is directly attached to the plb and not to the opb. This patch will try to fixup /plb/ebc if /plb/opb/ebc doesn't exist. Dear all: I get an arm platform from my friend and it is not in the list of boards in include folder. I intend to make a pure uboot, without including any driver but only basic cpu setting and uboot commands supported. But I cannot see any config option in Makefile. I know I may choose any config in boards and truncate those things I don't need at all. But I send this mail and want to know is there already a config option or some fast way I can meet my requirement? appreciate your help, miloody
