Hi All, I am porting Linux on MPC8266 custom board, after getting in to Linux the system seems to be struck at a point. Saved Environment variable:- bootargs console=ttyS0,11520 root=1f00 and downloaded the Kernel image at address 0x02000000 in the RAM. >From the u-boot prompt the bootm command is invoked as:- bootm 0x02000000 After that what I get on the terminal is pasted below for your reference. I couldn't make out any thing from the output, can any body tell me where I am doing wrong, and also I don't have any idea about the bootargs argument "root". If so, please mail me ! Well, probably I can - changing the size to the real size (which is 32MB instead of 128) - u-boot boots up to the prompt. Probably some memory test addressed memory above 32MB. So it works now. Hi All, I have been making some progress with porting U-Boot to a 7400/107 board. I now have serial out, but crash before the code is relocated to RAM. Can anyone help me please? From the System.map file I can see that __fixup_entries is 0. Is this correct? Can anyone suggest where I should be looking to fix this? That looks like it has some powerpc address hard coded in it. Now a surprise it doesn't work. Though it is an interesting bit. This is all that is necessary once you have a proper compiler on path: make omap2420h4_config make I've built with GCC3.4.0 and 3.3.2. Most others should work. There is a patch I sent out a few days ago from to the list which you should apply before building. Hi, Does the u-boot supports winCE? If i have to support winCE using u-boot, how can i start my work? I am using u-boot-1.1.2. I downloaded a patch from the following location. http://www.dave-tech.it/download/misc/sw/zefeer/zwck/u-boot-zwck-0.9.0-cmdb… But it is not working on my OSK board.
