I have a CX821xx board based on a ARM 940T based processor. I am worried whether u-boot has in built support for this processor. Please help me in solving this problem. [U-Boot-Users] Tftp/Ping not working on a at91rm9200 based board with Intel LXT971a

Hi all i'm actually trying to use a LXT971 on a arm rm9200 based based board so i'm using the at91r9200dk_config to compile the sources i've just changed the dm9161.c and dm9161.h files to match the good register (dm9161.h contents is replaced by the one of lxt971a.h). I've put these two files in the mail So the PHY component is well detected, so as the connection properties (10/100 Half/Full-Duplex) but when i try to ping a foreign device (i've activate the ping function) or if i try to use tftp to download file, nothing is happening (no connection on the tftp server are detected) So does anybody have an idea about how to make the network component working? -- Cordialement Fabrice & Frédéric -- IFOTEC Tél : 04 76 67 53 53

[U-Boot-Users] Fw: Help! Low-16 bits of SDRAM can not work!

Hi,All I have been working on such a board we made: *************************************** CPU: PXA255A Flash: Intel StrataFlash 16MB x 2 SDRAM: Samsung K4S5616320 32MB x 2 Two 16bits SDRAM chips are connected by the same CE,OE,OW,ADDRESS signals,forming a 32bits-width memory structure. *************************************** Using a emulator,I see the high 16bits of sdram works well,while the low 16bits always fail,though I've try many combination of configuration. We also found no problem with the hardware by an oscilloscope. (Finally we changed the high-16bit SDRAM chip but failed again.) I want to know what could lead to this? (Maybe a FATAL bit in a mysterious configuration register?) Anybody ever met this? BTW,I work on the base of CERF250 board. Best Regards, Phililp Beijing P.R.China

[U-Boot-Users] Question on FEC Parameter Ram structure

Dear all, The Ethernet protocol RAM area structure defined in include/asm/cpm_8260.h is taking 8 bytes of additional space due to "ushort rfthr" and "ushort rfcnt". These are not part of FEC parameter RAM area as per the MPC8260 / MPC8280 datasheet.Also as per the data sheet the size of the FCC (Ethernet) parameter area can be only 0xFF, due to these parameters the size is greater than 0xFF by 8 bytes. Just wanted to know was there any consideration for putting these fields in the FEC parameter RAM area or is it a mistake? Thanks for your understanding. With Regards, C.R.Srivatsan

Dear All: My board's cpu is freescale 8247. I debug the linux kernel 2.4.26 with BDI2000 and ppc_6xx-gdb on it. My linux kernel text base on 0xC0000000, so some global variable at 0xCxxxxxxx virtual address. Now the problem is that I can not print the global variable's value, when i use "p" command in gdb: p /x ga. gdb always tell me it's zero, even if I directly print the content in the ga's address. But if I evaluate the ga's value to a local variable in programm, then print it in gdb, it can get me the correct value. It seems the global variable was processed correctly. But Why I can not get the value? where the global variable stored while kernel running?
