Hi, Can i strip u-boot?.
Suppose i want only the serial interface support. can i turn off other interface support?.
How do i go about doing it?.

Yes. The "u-boot.bin" file is such a stripped, binary only image. Or use the ${CROSS_COMPILE}strip" command manually oin the "u-boot" ELF file.

Yes.

I take it that it may be a two-pass sort of solution.
In the first pass, RTFM.
Then adjust your board configuration.
