I am in the process of moving our Linux release (kernel 2.6.27) to ELDK 5.8 which comes with Linux kernel version 3.18. I also have a working u-boot version 2009 patch level 1 from the board manufacturer.

My question is, Is this version of u-boot compatible with Linux kernel 3.18 or not. I am using a PPC 460EX CPU board.
