Hi everybody,

I am rather new to U-Boot but finally got it running on our custom MCF5373L board. (Thanks to Robert S Grimes, who gave some very vital hints!) Now I want to start FPGA configuration via SPI for a Xilinx Spartan3 and an Altera Cyclone device.

As far as I understand the code, this is not directly supported and does not fit in the current scheme (when faking slave parallel mode, the additional clock pulse generation would be a problem). So IMHO extending the modes with something like "slave serial SPI" would be the cleanest solution.

Did anybody do something like this already, or are there any other hints?
