[U-Boot-Users] uboot for mpc8247
Hello,
I am currently using u-boot-0.3.0 for MPC8260 and MPC8280 based boards. Does this version of u-boot supports MPC8247 based boards? If not, which version should be used?

Yes, it does, but tnevertheless you should NEVER base any new work on such an old version.
If not, which version should be used?

I plugged an MPC8248 into an 8272ads and U-Boot from CVS 'Just Worked (tm)'.
The MPC8272 Family includes the MPC8247, MPC8248, MPC8271 and MPC8272 processors. Same good stuff with binary combinations of ATM and Security processor!
