Hi All, This is an ARM Makefile clean up series. This consists of: * arm-makefile modifications to remove repeated global flags, enable ASM files also to compile, sparse compilation to take place. * arm-makefile modification to enable GCC flags to automatically strip out unused functions and data areas (saves around 15K in final binary space).

Please note that arch/arm/Makefile does not have the advanced flag handling as done in linux kernel or u-boot v1. Subsequent patches would be required for the same. Probably Sascha can do it as part of the Pengutronix-hacking-week (tm) ;).
