Hi Wolfgang.
Here is a patch against the current CVS tree that adds support for the new Silicon Turnkey eXpress XTc 87x/88x board.
Thanks.

Is there already a document describing how to get U-Boot via git?

Not only to get it, but should we be moving to that instead of CVS? It makes no difference to me, I just want to be using the proper sources for updates (and to make Wolfgang's job as easy as possible :-))
Thanks.

If you take the parameters off that url, http://source.denx.net/cgi-bin/gitweb.cgi, you'll see directions for getting the repository.

It's part of the cogito tools. Download and install cogito.
I wasn't in my git snapshot.
You can of course use plain git commands as well.
