Attached is a patch which add 8 BIT mode for 8x/16x CFI Flashes from Spansion S29GLxxxM It has been tested against S29GL032M, but has no specific checkings, so must be compatible with other ones.

Additionally, CFG_FLASH_USE_BUFFER_WRITE and CFG_FLASH_CFI_AMD_RESET have to be defined in board config file. As port width is checked in runtime in flash_detect_cfi, and is not based in board config, I think this should be unified.
