[U-Boot-Users] Booting Linux kernel 2.6 from compact flash

Hello I want to set U-Boot to boot linux kernel 2.6(zImage) from compact flash with microcontroller ARM9. I'm new in programming in U-Boot. Please help me. 1. How do I get started? 2. Does I have to edit the U-Boot Source code? Please recommend me which file I have to edit.

zImage is wrong. For U-Boot, you have to use an uImage file.
