You have to set the MAC addresse(s) and reset the board. After this both enet devices will be available.

In PIBS works. 2. When trying to boot uImage (loaded via

doesn't work), it just hang after "Uncompressing Kernel
Image ... OK".
The same bzImage runs in PIBS. U-Boot 1.1.4, Linux 2.6.16, compiled with gcc 3.4.5.
Please give the DENX linux images a try:

Hmmm. Should work. What is the content of the env variable bootargs upon booting the kernel. Did you pass all needed info to the kernel (ttySx, baudrate...)?

But this is most probably not an U-Boot probl;em. Where did you get your kernel image from? [Hint: there is a working image just in the neigbour directory on the same server; just s/u-boot/linux/ ].
