[U-Boot-Users] CUSTODIANS: List of open issues / not applied patches

Hello everybody,
this is a heads-up especially for all custodians...
Please review the following list of postings / patches that - to the best of my knowledge - habve not been processed yet; at least I did not mark them as rejected, nor did I find them in the current U-Boot tree.
If possible, please apply and send pull requests ASAP! Thanks.

This issue did not made it into any patch. We discussed it and ended up with an idea how to add a config option to allow board specific protected flash ranges.
Because I have an open issue on this I will try to provide a patch 'til the end of this week.
Wolfgang, thanks for the reminder.

I can't see this one anywhere:

It doesn't matter all that much to me, but I get lots of build errors on powerpc without it. Other arches may be affected too.

After the first version of the patch was NAKed, I reveived no (positiv) answer to my then proposed alternative flash layout and the offer to submit a new patch. So I assumed the patch will also not be accepted and did no further work on this.

Not sure about the source of the problem, but the CONFIG_CFI_FLASH_LEGACY support seems to be broken - the code for flash_read_jedec_ids_intel and flash_read_jedec_ids_amd which are called in cfi_flash.c seems to be missing. I do not see any missing/outstanding patches that seem relevant to this problem.
Am I looking at the wrong branch?

No. You CFI/JEDEC rework should be available in the official repository right now. Could be that something slipped though. Best would be if you would provide a patch that adds the missing JEDEC stuff.
Thanks.

Hmm...I guess my compile tests didn't hit the CONFIG_CFI_FLASH_LEGACY case. Are there any boards that are actually using this in mainline?

Just saw your comments on JC's patch. Last message in:
http://www.nabble.com/Target-support-for-qemu--M-mips-td14375017.html
Can you please be more specific about the issues you have with my patch? I haven't seen any negative feedback (or much positive feedback :-] ) on the list or in private e-mail. I'm open to suggestions, as long as I get any ;-)
As for pushing into mainline, I don't want to rush this, but I have sent and re-sent this since end of September. If the next merge window opens in the summer, I'll just give up.
