[U-Boot-Users] MPC852T FEC ping fail

Hello All,
I am trying to get FEC up on a MPC852T processor based board that has a Intels LXT971A Network PHY chip. Connected as PHY Number 0.
I am not able to get the "ping" requests and replies. Using "ethereal" to check the ICMP packets. But it is not receiving any packets.
The MII clock is 25 Mhz for 100Mbps. The PHY register dump is as .... ***************************************************** =>ping 10.208.1.87 Trying FEC ETHERNET PHY type 0x13 pass 1 type PHY @ 0x0 pass 1 type LXT971 FEC: phyaddr = 0x0 phyno = 0 , reg[0] = 0x3100 phyno = 0 , reg[1] = 0x7809 phyno = 0 , reg[2] = 0x13 phyno = 0 , reg[3] = 0x78e2 phyno = 0 , reg[4] = 0x1e1 phyno = 0 , reg[5] = 0x0 phyno = 0 , reg[6] = 0x4 phyno = 0 , reg[7] = 0x2001 phyno = 0 , reg[8] = 0x0 phyno = 0 , reg[9] = 0x7fff phyno = 0 , reg[10] = 0x7fff phyno = 0 , reg[11] = 0x7fff phyno = 0 , reg[12] = 0x7fff phyno = 0 , reg[13] = 0x7fff phyno = 0 , reg[14] = 0x7fff phyno = 0 , reg[15] = 0x7fff phyno = 0 , reg[16] = 0x84 phyno = 0 , reg[17] = 0x100 phyno = 0 , reg[18] = 0x0 phyno = 0 , reg[19] = 0x54 phyno = 0 , reg[20] = 0x422 phyno = 0 , reg[21] = 0x0 phyno = 0 , reg[22] = 0x0 phyno = 0 , reg[23] = 0x0 phyno = 0 , reg[24] = 0x0 phyno = 0 , reg[25] = 0x0 phyno = 0 , reg[26] = 0x48 phyno = 0 , reg[27] = 0x0 phyno = 0 , reg[28] = 0x7fff phyno = 0 , reg[29] = 0x0 phyno = 0 , reg[30] = 0x0 phyno = 0 , reg[31] = 0x3768 sending ARP for 0ad00157 ARP broadcast 1 fec.c[135] fec_send: cycles: 9 status: c01 retry cnt: 0 ARP broadcast 2 fec.c[135] fec_send: cycles: 12 status: 2c01 retry cnt: 0 ping failed; host 10.208.1.87 is not alive =>
