OK, found the section on Memory Management, do remember seeing it a while ago. But it doesn't explain my problem.

I have also built the code into u-boot, and it runs just fine.

The only thing I can think that is out of the ordinary is a large static array of short values, (2-3K) which get downloaded to an attached DSP.

Its not the end of the world if it doesn't work, but its been bugging me (sorry!!) for a week or two.
