I am currently trying to compile U-Boot for the AT91R40008 (ARM7TDMI based CPU from ATMEL) and the AT91R40008 Evaluation Board (EB40A). I have been reading the documentation and searching the mailing list but the simplest guide I have found is "http://free-electrons.com/doc/porting-u-boot.pdf"
