stumbled over board_pci_host_broken() in board/freescale/mpc837xemds/mpc837xemds.c
Is this a board specific error (wiring) or a CPU issue ?
Wonder if this could apply to my MPC8377 based system, too ...

Sorry for the late It is board specific error in some early MPC837xEPB board, it is NOT CPU issue. Some MPC837xEPB board didn't have a pull-up on PCI control signals, so it cause problem when it is standalone working mode.
