AW: [U-Boot-Users] RE: Any MV-64360 u-boot work in progress?

Hi there, Brad, Don,
I'm currently working on a port for the MV64360 in conjuction with the IBM750FX and the job is almost done. A "beta" version is already running. It's not based on the u-boot yet, but on the ppc-boot. I'm going to do the switch over to u-boot as soon as the port is working finaly. If you like, I can send you a copy of the "beta-code".

I'm new here also. I'm currently working on a PPCboot port to a Motorola 7455 based VME board we have.
We are also working on a board that has the MV64360. Should have prototypes in mid-February. I haven't had time to look at it yet, but the HW guys told me there were drivers available for both VxWorks and Linux.

I understand that Marvell has decided not to do this work. The Discovery II (and U-Boot) should be popular enough that others will want it working.
Is anyone working on, or even considering working on,
support for the
Discovery II? I have an evaluation board on it's way (and I already use a BDI-2000 for my other work), but I _really_ would rather not have to do this all myself.
Thanks.
And thanks to those of you who have obviously invested so
much time in
developing this code! U-Boot seems to be pretty easy to work with.
