Hi, Im using u-boot 1.1.4.
Regarding bad blocks - Suppose the nand device already contains bad blocks. Does u-boot take care of it. It skips the block and writes to the next block?.
I went through the nand_write_ecc routines. i cannot see that u-boot checks if a block is bad/not.
Im using write.jffs2 - nand write.jffs2 to write the file system.
What i see is when the kernel boots up - it throws a list of messages saying bad blocks found.
But i see im missing some files.
Regards, sriram
