Hi,
I am working with PXA255. I have the bootloader(u-boot) and linux kernel ported to arm. I will have my bootlaoder, linux OS in Flash. I want to have my linux OS up in the board. What else do i need to do? Do I need a file system for flash?
Regards, Deya.

You _can_ use a filesystem, but you don't have to. You can, for example, use a JFFS2 (r/w) or a cramfs (r/o) directly on the flash - this is surely the most elegant way to bring the userland into the machine.
