Hi all, Since i couldn't find this info on the web I only would like to know if Uboot is free (meaning cost zero) even for using it in commercial products. Thanks in advance for answer. I apologize if such info is available on the web and I didn't search eenought for it

It is licensed using the GPL http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/gpl.html
Yes, it is zero cost to license but, like all licensed items, you must honor the licensing terms.
