Hi, I observe that there are 2 nand writes. nand write -- which we use to flash the kernel nand write.jffs2 which we use to flash the filesystem.

What is the difference between these 2 nand write and nand write.jffs2.

Is it only that when we use nand write.jffs2 bad blocks are skipped.

if so, if there is a bad block in the linux kernel partition - will the write fail?.
