[U-Boot-Users] MIPS compile problem "linking PIC files with non-PIC files"
Hello,
While I compile purple_config uboot, I met a problem as following:
Bad value: failed to merge target specific data of file lib_generic/libgeneric.a(crc.o)
....linking PIC files with non-PIC files
Could you mind tell me where the problem is? (1) compiler? (2) compile switch? (3) ar switch? (4) ld switch?

Works fine for me using ELDK 3.1.1 and ELDK 4.0 toolchains.

Yes (or, more general, your whole toolchain).
