[U-Boot-Users] VxWorks and Windows

Hi,
Has anybody any tips to share about using u-boot with VxWorks?
Does anybody know if there is a freeware Linux emulation program that can be used to run GNU tools under Windows?
Thank you for your time,

Just use U-boot to load and start VxWorks.

Many people will point you to Cygwin; but you will soon learn a lesson (see signature below).

Why would you use Cygwin when Linux is free. That's like driving a Volkswagen with Ferrari skins when you can afford to buy the real thing.:-)

Do you need to run GNU tools under Windows because Vxworks doesn't support Linux as its development environment and you have to also compile u-boot?
If so, use Linux as a VxWorks development environment. There is an open source project to do it (which I made). Visit http://vxtools.sourceforge.net/
