[U-Boot-Users] Copyright and license for mkimage

Hello Wolfgang
I am hoping to clarify the rights to use and distribute the mkimage binary.
I would like to distribute a mkimage binary (or possibly a derived work) to facilitate checking uImage files as part of a remote software update.
The mkimage binary is made from crc32.c which is amenable to such use:
(a URL for version 1.1.3 of zlib.h is http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/*checkout*/gnu-darwin/zlib-1.1.3/zlib.... )
However the mkimage.c file is:
* (C) Copyright 2000-2003 * DENX Software Engineering * Wolfgang Denk, wd@denx.de * All rights reserved.
What advice can you give? Has anyone else used mkimage in this way?
Thanks
-Cam
PS: apologies if this is a FAQ, the list archives are currently down.

Dear Cam,

Ah, sorry. This will be cleaned up (semi-) immediately.

I will put the mkimage source under GPL.

This is not a FAQ. I guess you are actually he first to notice this oversight.
Best regards,
