[U-Boot] At91rm9200dk ...Uboot ...How to download this uboot directly to flash

I have tried to down load uboot bin via xmodem
I am using serial flash AT45DB642D . My aim is to boot from this flash .

I think this is due to insufficient of SRAM capability ie 16KB SRAM uboot size is 107KB
I think you have chosen the BOOTROM based upload via xmodem cause you talk about SRAM size which does not matter if you boot from NOR flash on CS0.

You will need a bootstrap loader for this ... U-Boot will not fit in SRAM!

Ouch ok, I could have seen this in older messages.
I did not manage booting from serial dataflash for AT91SAM9263 by only using U-Boot (someone could give another advice if this is not correct). I used a bootstrap loader called at91bootstrap. Unfortunately there are only AT91SAM devices supported.
I also did some at91rm9200 bootstrap hacking for xmodem upload years ago. Will search for this software this evening and contact you off list since this is not U-boot related.
