in our development enviroment we use some PowerMacs running Debian to compile U-Boot/Linux kernel. If I remove "-Map u-boot.map" from the Makefile the linking is successful.

P.S. When using the compiler from ELDK (3.3.3 )in native mode, the image compiles and runs OK.
