[U-Boot-Users] how to make u-boot.out file

hi, everyone:
I want to use CCS to debug u-boot, but the CCS can load only .out image file. So can anyone tell me how to make u-boot.out file or how to convert .srec or .bin file into .out file.
thanks and regards
helen

CCS? Do you mean Code Composer Studio, the TI DSP development suite?

Maybe you should contact your CCS support channel then?
I don't even know what CCS is, now what they understand as "out" file format.

As far as I know, helen is talking about a probe that is being used with the Texas Instruments Code Composer Studio DSP development suite. I don't think you get the flexibility from TI do load your bootloader onto another device using their tools.

That was my first idea, too. But I thought I must be wrong.

Maybe he is actually porting U-Boot to a DSP? We ported Python to a DSP, so why not?

Yeah, you're right, I've heard about a company porting Linux to a C6x (?) processor of TI, so they must be using a bootloader too :). If it is this, I can ask my collegue what the name of the company was, he met a developer in a TI conference in Paris a couple of weeks ago.
