could you please let me know the steps to identify the timing of u-boot. As u-boot gives the control to kernel, there won't be any u-boot code is running on processor right.

The easiest way is to print appropriate messages on a serial console port, and then use external tools to time-stamp this output. See for example the old time_log script here: ftp://ftp.denx.de/pub/tools/time_log
