I have developed a patch which adds Compact Flash support to the NIOS DK1C20 board together with Scott McNutt. It works nicely.

I had a compilation issue with the fat.c module. The NIOS compiler did not like the large automatic array but it compiled OK when the array was static. So I used a conditional compile to make the array static when using the NIOS processor. Please let me know if you can think of a more elegant solution.

Unfortunately we are limited to using the version of the compiler provided in the evaluation kit.
