So is the sourceforge[t].net CVS repository down for the count? It's been almost a week since pserver CVS access was available for u-boot. I was rather hoping to do an update and CVS diff to make up a patch, but there is currently no CVS repository for me to diff against... ? - -- Steve Williams "The woods are lovely, dark and deep. steve at icarus.com But I have promises to keep, http://www.icarus.com and lines to code before I sleep, http://www.picturel.com And lines to code before I sleep."

FWIW, I'm seeing similar problems:
cvs -t update -AdP -> main loop with CVSROOT=:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/u-boot -> Connecting to cvs.sourceforge.net(66.35.250.207):2401 cvs [update aborted]: unrecognized auth response from cvs.sourceforge.net: M PserverBackend::PserverBackend() Connect (Connection refused) -> Lock_Cleanup()
Yet access to some sf projects is fine:
cvs -t update -AdP -> main loop with CVSROOT=:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/blob -> Connecting to cvs.sourceforge.net(66.35.250.207):2401 -> Sending file `types.h' to server . . .

There is nothing I can do about it. Even the CVS nightly tarballs (see http://sourceforge.net/project/admin/cvs.php?group_id=65938) are unaccessable.
All I could do is to put a snapshot on a FTP server.

Thought of, yes. But who says this would improve things? Is there any representative data about reliability and performance of the resp. servers?
Best regards,
