[U-Boot-Users] [PATCH 0/7] Respin of Sascha Hauer's i.MX31 support plus MX31ADS

This series of patches is a respin on the current git-top of Sascha's i.MX31 support in U-Boot with minor additions / improvements, plus support for the MX31ADS evaluation board from Freescale.
Peter, please get them in before the window closes.
Sascha, could you please test them on your boards? The main thing now is to get them in for the next release, any fixes shall be possible to submit and get accepted also after the merge window.
Thanks Guennadi --- Guennadi Liakhovetski, Ph.D.

This patch adds a driver for the following smsc network controllers: LAN9115 LAN9116 LAN9117 LAN9215 LAN9216 LAN9217
is this like the smsc911x.c in the kernel ? i'm interested in whether this driver supports LAN9218. i have a driver in the Blackfin tree that we use for the LAN9218 ... i also have an eeprom program i can send out for it. -mike

sorry, just found the newer thread where 9218 was covered. eeprom program attached then. it'll obviously need some updates for the newer code, but that should just be define renamings. feedback welcome. -mike

Hi Ben and Sascha,
This patch adds a driver for the following smsc network controllers: LAN9115 LAN9116 LAN9117 LAN9215 LAN9216 LAN9217
This patch most likely covers exactly what the SMSC LAN9x1x driver covers I sent earlier in March. How is the decision going to be made which driver is going to be the one that will be integrated into U-Boot?
Regards, Mark

This driver seems to be a superset of yours, so this would be the one to go in once it's compliant. Sorry for the lack of communication on my part.

I am just sorry for the wasted hours it took to clean it up.

We really appreciate the hard work you put into this. Would you be able to try out the patch that Guennadi just posted and add your 'Acked-by'?
thanks, Ben

My schedule is pretty tight right now so I cannot make a promise. Anyhow, it was on my list to give the driver a try. I'll give feedback once I tested it.

This series of patches is a respin on the current git-top of Sascha's i.MX31 support in U-Boot with minor additions / improvements, plus support for the MX31ADS evaluation board from Freescale.
Peter, please get them in before the window closes.
I've seen this - how long have I got Wolfgang?
Sascha, could you please test them on your boards? The main thing now is to get them in for the next release, any fixes shall be possible to submit and get accepted also after the merge window.
Thanks Guennadi
