On upgrade from uboot v2017 Comphy-0: UNCONNECTED

Hello list,
My board is Marvell Armada 3720 Espressobin variant I am trying to upgrade from uboot v2017 to latest one I was able to get to uboot shell prompt after disabling almost all and leaving only network. For a network board has Marvell switch. I added some debug prints to drivers/phy/marvell/comphy_a3700.c
The boot console is
U-Boot 2023.07.02 / 2GB-00012-g053342b3b2-dirty (Apr 11 2024 - 07:55:53 +0300)
