I think the last commit was not visible yet on the public server when you tried this. The rsync job is not running that often, and I forgot to push a sync manually.
plus, it looks like the patch is replacing tabs with spaces (see, e.g., pib_init() changes in board/freescale/mpc8349emds/pci.c).
